Manual Therapy

At Alchemy, our providers are highly trained in the utilization of various manual therapy techniques. These techniques include dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (Graston technique), cupping, active assisted release, joint mobilization, and cervicothoracic and lumbopelvic manipulation. The use of these techniques helps to reduce pain, improve mobility of joints and soft tissue and restore strength.

What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is a manual therapy technique that utilizes a small filiform needle to reach trigger points in deeper muscle fibers. Stimulating these trigger points helps to reduce tension and decrease neuromuscular pain.
