Headshot of owner Deanna Palatucci

Deanna Palatucci, PT, DPT, MS, ATC

Founder

Deanna graduated from Penn State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and Athletic Training Concentration. From there she went on to become a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Tennessee while completing her Master’s Degree in Sport Management. After her time at UT, Deanna worked as an athletic trainer for 5 years before deciding to pursue physical therapy school. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Pittsburgh in 2018.

With her combined athletic training and physical therapy experience, Dr. Palatucci has over a decade of helping athletes and active individuals. She has Division 1, professional sport and international sport experience along with 8 years of clinical orthopedic and sports medicine experience. She opens her own physical therapy clinic, Alchemy, after working in high volume orthopedic clinics and getting frustrated with the health care system placing restrictions and keeping patients from getting the care they deserve. She is passionate about returning her patients to the activities they love from playing with grandchildren to competing for a world championship. With her thorough evaluations, corrective exercise prescription and extensive manual therapy skills, she is well equipped to address your needs. If you are passionate about being active and moving your body, but an injury or pain is keeping you from doing so, then Deanna wants to help you!

Kendal Jones

Kendal earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Food, and Exercise from Virginia Tech, where she also played Division I softball as a catcher. Competing at a high level sparked her interest in working with overhead athletes and shaped the way she views movement, recovery, and long-term performance.

She went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. Kendal now has over 13 years of experience working with athletes and active individuals of all ages, with previous roles at the Sports Medicine Clinic for Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Chesapeake, VA, and Resurgent Sports Rehab in Fairfax, VA.

Kendal has a special interest in working with runners, endurance athletes, and baseball and softball players. She helps her patients bridge the gap between rehab and performance through clear, progressive programming, movement retraining, and strength that carries over to real life and sport. She is Dry Needling Certified and integrates hands-on techniques with targeted mobility and strengthening to create individualized, goal-driven care. She values building strong relationships with her patients and believes the best outcomes come from collaboration, education, and empowering people to take ownership of their movement and recovery.

When she’s not in the clinic, Kendal enjoys life with her husband and two dogs, staying active through hot yoga and running, weight training, and spending time outdoors on the trails.
