Performance Physical Therapist
Full Time | In Person | Roanoke, VA
What Makes This Role Different
This is not a cookie-cutter, ten-patients-an-hour, stretch-and-ice PT role.
Our physical therapists treat active adults, runners, and athletes across Roanoke who want a provider that actually gets them. People who want to keep doing what they love, not just get out of pain.
As a core member of our clinical team, you'll build one-on-one relationships with your patients, design plans of care rooted in strength and movement, and help set the tone for what Alchemy is becoming in this community.
You'll grow alongside a team that's active, social, and genuinely invested in each other.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with a strong ortho and sports medicine lens
Build individualized plans of care that emphasize strength, movement, and long-term resilience, not just symptom relief
Incorporate strength and conditioning principles into treatment, or be eager to learn them
Build genuine, lasting relationships with your patients
Communicate clearly with patients, teammates, and referring providers
Collaborate with the team on caseload, scheduling, and day-to-day clinic flow
Represent Alchemy in the Roanoke community, on and off the clock
Bring energy, personality, and a fun-loving attitude to the clinic every day
Full 60-minute, one-on-one sessions. A practice model that isn't boxed in by insurance rules, so you get real autonomy in how you build and deliver care. A collaborative clinical team. Patients who are genuinely invested in their own health. A culture built on mutual respect, on and off the clinic floor.
