Performance Physical Therapist

Full Time | In Person | Roanoke, VA

What Makes This Role Different

Alchemy Sports Performance and Rehabilitation is growing, and we are looking for the right physical therapist to join our clinical team as we do. This is not a high-volume, checklist-driven physical therapy role.

Our physical therapists treat active adults, runners, and athletes across Roanoke who are looking for a provider that understands their goals. These are people who want to keep doing what they love, not simply get out of pain.

As a core member of our clinical team, you will build one-on-one relationships with your patients, design plans of care rooted in strength and movement, and help shape what Alchemy represents in this community.

You will work alongside a team that is professionally engaged and collaborative.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with a strong orthopedic and sports medicine background

  • Build individualized plans of care that emphasize strength, movement, and long-term resilience, not just symptom relief

  • Incorporate strength and conditioning principles into treatment, or be willing to develop this skill set

  • Build genuine, lasting relationships with your patients

  • Communicate clearly with patients, teammates, and referring providers

  • Collaborate with the team on caseload, scheduling, and day-to-day clinic operations

  • Contribute positively to the clinic's team culture

At Alchemy, you can expect 60-minute, one-on-one patient sessions and a practice model that is not restricted by insurance requirements, giving you real autonomy in how you develop and deliver care. You will be part of a collaborative clinical team, treating patients who are genuinely invested in their own long-term health and wellness, within a team culture built on mutual respect and support.
